My Mom was given 1 year to live after being diagnosed with stage (4) cancer. My Mom is a fighter and has the will to live. Its been almost 10 years now and although some of it has certainly been tough she will continue to battle. They are coming up with different treatments almost daily. I would suggest to fight it if you have the will. Good luck I wish you the very best.

Bill, I'm really sorry to hear this. As has been mentioned, they have new methods of treatment coming out, so don't give in to it. Fight it for all you're worth! I wish you all the best.

I'm also in my 70's and dealing with cancer(s). It's what prompted my sig below.

Your friends and family feel helpless, and no one really knows what to say.

We just have to deal with it, and try to do so in a way that makes those we care about proud.

Good luck with your fight, Sir.

    Hi Bill,
Yes life can suck at times and this is one of them for you.
I turn 69 next month and are 4 years cancer free.
The treatments have come a long way. Get several opinions from the very best Doctors you can find. It can matter big time.
    You can do this Bill.
