Wink I'm getting back on the build of My NIB Mark 2

Hello guys, I have not posted on this site for a long time. I bought my kit in July 2020. Right after my last post here ( https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/show...some-questions)

I purchased a MK2 (2004) Base Kit that that was new in the box. It also came with a few extras. The previous owner purchased a 80K mile 89 GT and generously included all the parts with the kit. it was 13.5K including delivery.

Here is a few pictures taken during the long trip from Texas to California to pick up the Kit.

So bottom line is you guys were right LOL .. I have just at 17.5K in it now including rebuilding the engine trans and rear end and am just about at go-cart stage. The rest of the build has been new parts I mostly sourced from Rockauto, eBay and Amazon. I started the car for the first time in July of last year and have been kind of tinkering with it but life has gotten in the way. I am now able to devote more time to it and hopefully within a few months it will be on the road in its gel coat.

I have been documenting my build on Youtube. My last video was almost a year ago when I started the car for the first time. I should have a new one soon.

Here is the first start video This was a good day.
