Rear Brake Caliper Mounting
I have a project 2007 Challenge Car that I bought as a basket case with boxes of parts. I am currently mounting the rear brakes in preparation for the rear axle install. There is a 3/4” gap between the caliper and mounting plate. Is there a spacer that makes up the gap? I have downloaded copies of both assembly manuals, donor and complete kit, and they don’t mention anything about spacers. Thanks for your help.

Looks like you have SN95 width axles with Fox width caliper mounts.

Thanks Jeff - Do you have a recommended remedy? Can I use a spacer or do I need a different mounting bracket? If so, is it a FFR part? Will the SN95 axle cause any other issues down the road with wheel width fitment?
Thanks again,

SN95 width rear end will cause problems if you try to run a wide tire using the common rim specs. If indeed you have the wider SN95 axles best option is to replace them to get everything to Fox width which is 59.25” flange to flange.

The rear end is 60.75 so it looks like I have the tweener rear end. Does FFR sell the mounting plates for my rear end? Or are they offered through a third party?
Thanks again Jeff.
