Any one using an external transmission cooler on a 33?
I have a Blueprint LS with a 4L70E transmission and the transmission builder recommends not using a cooler integrated with a radiator.
Thanks

I have an LS3 with a 4L65e.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with using the radiator loop for the tranny cooler and also using an external cooler.
I have the tranny fluid going first to the radiator and then to the cooler which has it’s own fan. I can turn the fan on/off with a switch in the console.

SVTFreak has a separate transmission cooler for his 6R80. See his build thread for photos, etc. (#404 for example) https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/show...ler#post492327

Thanks guys
I've found a couple from Summit that look like they will fit in front of the radiator.
I'll call the trans builder on Mon. and see:
If the ones I found are big enough to act as a stand-alone cooler, or
If I should use the radiator loop with a second cooler, or
If I should use a remote cooler with a fan
