    HeadlLight Switch

    Heh All

Anyone know the part number for the headlight switch on the Gen2 Kit?

I've got some funky front lighting stuff going on (that I've traced back to the switch.

    Thanks in advance.

Go to the local auto parts store and get one for any 70s GM product.

When mine acted up I asked for one for a 70 Chevelle at Advanced Auto.

Yes - got to auto parts store or amazon. Standard mid 70's GM switch (and better quality than the FFR supplied switch). Mine virtually fell apart prior to the install.

ACDelco D1588. Insist on the branded ACDelco part. Your local store might have one. $27 with next day delivery on Amazon.

That's what I needed, Thanks all.

Yeah, mine causes the lights to flicker when you wiggle the knob slightly and that should not happen. Also a couple times I pulled the knob and no lights came on. The plug is fully seated on the switch, no shorts, no continuity issues on any of the wires, no grounding issues and all connections are soldered beside the headlight plugs, so most likely the switch.
