Hello, new member here, So happy I'm on my way to a FFR MK IV Cobra roadster
Im getting ready to buy the complete MK IV kit, I praying I can get all the parts I need and info, I'm building this car with my Ford 429 super Cobra jet, and a TKX 5 speed from Mike Forte and a few other parts, (Thanks Mike), I'm hoping to meet some other members that used the 429-460 engine in there Cobra's ? at this point it looks like I'm going to need a different oil pan ? And special headers ? If any members have went this route 429 460 in there Cobra Please reply thanks Mike

Not sure why you would need a different oil pan. there are no crossmemebers (anywhere under the engine) to work around on the roadster chassis.
I visited the London, Ohio cobra show last year and saw a could of roadsters with the big Lima motors. on had a "Boss 504" engine. Yes it had boss heads. If you go to ashow like this you can get a lot of info.

That's good to hear, I was told the factory Ford 429 oil pan would hang down to low ? I guess I'll know for sure once the engine is installed. I'm hoping there's some members out there that have a 429 460 in there Cobra, I would like to pick there brain's about how there builds went or are going, Thanks so much for the info

I was told the same thing about my engine choice as well (351 Cleveland) My plan is to cross that bridge when I get to it.

I have a small block Ford Performance Boss 460W in my coupe. It's a bored out Boss 427 block that is based on the 351 Windser. Bought it from Mike Forte. He supplied a special oil pan that "just" clears on the coupe.
