Curious why you didnt go IRS. I have one here that is IRS 15 inch knock off wheels and everything fits great. No narrowing of a 8.8 The IRS might actually be cheaper in the end.

Hi Mike, I had seriously considered pin drive knockoffs. however was concerned about the legal side of it here in NYS. FFR tech confirmed the fitment of their wheels without narowing the rear. actually was told the rear may need spacers

Congrats Luey! I remember your Roadster build. Regarding the rear end…use an SN95 from ‘94-‘98 rather than Fox which is 3/4” narrower per side. I used one on a Gen3 with 10.5” wide 17s and 315s and actually the wheels could have come out a bit further.

    Looking forward to following along!

Thanks Jeff. you helped me quite a bit back in the day! I have ordered the standard width solid axle from Moser (through FFR) same as the MK4. Interesting observation, think Im ok with the Moser rear? im sure I will need spacers

    Congrats Luey,
I got the Moser std for a 3 link on my Daytona with 15 in. Hallibrand. No need for spacers here.

Congrats on your next journey! Beautiful garage! We just built a new house with a 4 car garage and plan to have the floors finished or covered and a lift installed in the spring. Also planning a Daytona build in the hopefully not too distant future. What kind of flooring did you install? Any more pics of your layout? GLWTB. I'll be following.

thank you. the flooring is from race deck. its ok, not what I had expected. the garage is 3.5 car with a great shop off the back as you can see in the pictures before and after I installed the french doors to the back shop. just under 1000 sqft of shop space now

What is the standard lead time on a kit right now? In the planning phase of my build but I have not ordered the kit yet. Thanks!
