TKX rear mounting tab thread pitch?

    Hey Y'all,

I'm in the middle of mocking up my drivetrain to my Roadster and noticed that the TKX rear mounting tabs do not accept a 7/16" - 14 bolt "cleanly"...

The 1st several turns from either direction seem a little loose, but the bolt doesn't go all the way thru with just finger torque -- I don't want to mess up the aluminum.

Is this supposed to be a 7/16-14 bolt or perhaps a metric?

    Thanks for the help!

Go get yourself a thread pitch gauge. Then you can know for sure.

Thanks Rich -- very practical suggestion

The thread pitch did turn out to be 7/16-14... it just surprised me how loose it felt initially, then it had a tight region...maybe the threads got damaged a little in shipping since that's where it mounted to the crate.
