Help me mount this coupe aluminum piece…

I know this has been covered before but I can’t find the search term or find it in anyone’s build thread. What is the best way/orientation to mount this piece? I don’t care about “right”, more about what makes sense. I swear I’ve seen where the piece can go either over or under the body…

it fits in behind the flange on the body. Once you place there you will see how it fits.

Definitely UNDER the body (as Dave said). You put bulb seal on the corner that sits under the body. Most times this panel goes on AFTER the body is on and complete (full body work and paint etc.) I actually had it in with cleko pins (mounted from the under side in the wheel well) for a long time when getting other parts of the car done / getting seats in and measured etc.

Yes under. I missed the instruction on waiting until body was on and mounted mine before. I was still able to mount body. Just makes it a little more challenging.
