    Moser Rear End Delivery

I have been searching for this for some time. I ordered the Moser Rear End with my Kit. Build date of 24 Feb. 2024. I have seen some mention delivery of their Moser, but not sure if they ordered it with their kit.

Does the Moser arrive with the kit or is it a separate delivery?

    Thanks
    Steve

Mine arrived separately direct from Moser.

Thank you, now of course I have more questions.

Did the Wilwoods also ship separately? How long, before or after your kit arrived did these start to show up?

Yes, the Wilwood brakes are drop shipped direct from Wilwood. Mine actually showed up before any other kit parts arrived, but that was several years ago.

Once you make your final (full) payment, Factory Five orders the third party items, e.g. Moser and Wilwood. Both drop ship directly to your place. When they arrive is a function of lead time at that supplier. I've done both several times. Factory Five provided the tracking information when I asked. Quite common for them to beat your kit delivery, although not always.

Good to hear. It would be nice to have the rear unit assembled as you show here. My goal is to have all the major sub assemblies done when the kit arrives.

Thanks for the great information. My build date in 24 Feb, So I will be looking forward to some deliveries. edwardb, I saw the build thread tag on your post. I will be able to dig into it a little deeper tomorrow. I am using a power brake system similar to the unit you installed. Did you use the foot pedal from the FFR kit or buy a single brake pedal from Wilwood?

I see from your other posts you're doing a 35 truck with an automatic transmission. For the truck build I did, also an automatic, I completely eliminated the Wilwood pedal box. I didn't need the clutch and the Wilwood pedal box doesn't support power brakes without modification. I hung the brake pedal assembly on the shelf provided for the Wilwood pedal box and modified the firewall for the booster and master cylinder. Details in my build thread. Note that was my choice but not the only way to do it. To directly answer your question, no I didn't use a Wilwood brake pedal. I did have a Wilwood double master cylinder and proportioning valve.
