    Coupe Side Windows Gasket Part#

    All

Does anyone have a part number for the gasket that is used between the side windows and the window frame ? Looks like I received 1/2 inch too little in my kit. Just wondering if anyone has sourced this gasket/seal outside of factory five.

    thanks

It's just the half moon shaped weather strip, correct? Breeze Automotive has it.

No, its the dual channel with locking seal that goes between the glass(plastic) and the black window frame.

Only 1/2 inch short? As I recall that stuff is somewhat stretchy. I'll bet if you pulled it a little on the straight sections you could make up the 1/2 inch. Could be wrong but worth a shot. Or maybe you tried that already.

Yes did that but I'm worried that the gasket is going to settle over time and the gap will be back.

They usually give you more than you need but for some reason this seal was very close. After squaring up the ends I'm short.

Got it. Too bad. I don't remember exactly, but I had at least several inches left over after I did mine. I purposely squared the ends just barely long and no gaps. Even now some years later. Good luck getting more. Those are pricey enough they should take care of you.

Sorry for the confusion. I agree that FF should be able to send you some more of the strip. Alternatively, if its just 1/2 an inch, you could lay some plastic tape on 1 side and shoot some black RTV inside to fill the gap.
