Coyote Header Help. Is this fitment correct?

So I got my FFR Coyote shorty headers. Got them bolted up and there is almost no room to connect a J-pipe. And I have the Whitby spacers raising the block. There looks to be ~1.5" between the header and the 4" main tube.

And about half the outlet is over the main tube as well.

I took out the 302 j-pipes I had laying around just to see how close it is. It looks like I need at least and 1" more clearance to get them to fit. Dropping the trans mount would create interference with the driveshaft. Drivers side looks like the exact same issues.

Best bet is to call FFR directly and talk to Jesper or Brian Z. Most likely, you have the first set out the door so there will be some teething issues.

That is the way they are supposed to fit. The new adapter pipes will fit no problem according to Jesper.

Wow. Well, I'll bolt them in and see what happens when the adapters become available. Thanks.

That fitment is correct. If you want this set of headers for cheap, see here:
