    Anyone going to be at CMP May 19-20?

    Just wondering if any other challenge drivers are coming. If not I may have fun in Vintage for the weekend.

    I am planning on being there Marty but obviously will be doing HPDE for the weekend. I didn't know NASA had a Vintage class?

    Yep, and as of this year replicas can run. So far there is a 68 Firebird and a 67 Mustang signed up.

    The Vintage race director emailed me today and asked if the two of us would run in Vintage instead of FFRC. So do I run in FFRC and get a couple of points, or run in Vintage and have more people to race against?

    The group looks pretty interesting:
    65 Mustang
    66 Mustang
    68 Firebird
    71 Datsun 240Z
    72 Porsche 911
    73 Corvette
    77 Nissan 240 ZX
    79 AMC

    I got a great view of the Vintage race at Road Atlanta Last year.

    Nice I have a 68 Mustang myself. I think I enjoy vintage racing better than any other. Something about the older cars...

    So is there anyone else in the FFR challenge that runs in the southeast division?

    Oh yes,
    We have Tom L, Lars L, and myself in the South-east. Ron S should be ready in the next couple of months.

    Then the entire East Coast group (including the SE guys) run 2 SE events each year. We try to run 2 events in each East Coast Region each year.

    Not really...good safety measure and piece of mind. It sits low and is maybe 5 lbs. I run 180 no matter what the outside temp it.
