how about an add in drain plug at this time

currently running fuel lines, thinking it might be nice to have a drain plug in this tank for later? Anybody have some thoughts on this? Know of a kit to add one without welding in a bung? How about one of those custom tanks, do they have a drain and could i afford one? thanks.

The ability to drain the tank comes in handy once in a while. I do it when I'm switching from pump gas to race fuel, and then back again. A simple drain plug in the bottom of the tank might not bee that helpfull, in case you need to drain 3-4 gallons.

All of my lines are AN. I installed a T fitting in the feed line, and then capped off one of the ports. I installed a push button under the dash to activate the fuel pump relay.

I remove the cap from the T fitting, install a hose with a hose end, and feed that into a fuel jug. All I have to do is push the button, and the fuel pump will drain the tank.
