Broker for bidding on donor - an alternative to signing up with auction house

Guys,

I found this broker's web site who was listed on the iaai auction site, if I read their registration form correctly, they will bid for you. If you are buying only one ..or a few cars there is currently no registration fee.. and they have access to severial auction locations including Copart, iaai, and others. You need to tell them of course how high you are willing to go... and details about which car you want to bid on etc..

Deposit: $1,000 Hold put on credit card.
Transaction fee: $150 each car.
Copart( or other) fee: as they calculate them.

I have not had dealings with this broker so this is not a recommendation, it just it looks like it may be a good way to go.
If anyone has has had dealings with this broker it would be good to hear from you.

many States require you to be in the business or be a broker...
I also recommend either a full, personal on site inspection or purchase one from a 3rd party so that you have the best picture of what you are bidding on...

Be very careful about from where the car comes from. I wouldn't touch a sight unseen auction car from the NJ/NY area for quite some time. A lot of cars might look good but they were under water(salt water). Now, if just a tree crushed the roof that would be fine I suppose. Just something to keep in mind.

As a general rule I think it's a good idea to stay away from fire and water damaged cars. Too much potential for a lot of unseen damage - especially to electrical parts like computers, controllers, sensors, etc. Could get really costly making it not a deal at all...
