A few pics of the progress.

Here are a few pics of my build.

The body with the new gel coat still needs a bunch of sanding to make things fit, but it looks amazing. I am still working on the seams for the hood.

I still have to clean up a few things in the engine bay, but I am liking the way it is looking. Had some help from the other forum on how to make the cold air intake work, but I like the way it looks. My buddy helped me make the engine covers. The M is the Ironman M...kind of a theme car.

The instructions left room for some creativity with the leg AC outlet. Again my buddy cut the aluminum (He is my hero on a CNC machine), I made the vents with some extra mesh from the front of the car and some shop vac attachments from Home Depot. Works well and I think it fills the space well.

Get back to into your garage

    Thanks

    Dave

Car looks great. Just wait till you pull the trigger on the gas pedal. Rob Kinaan at Hot Rod Magazine drove my LS7 car at the standing mile at Maxton and wrote afterwards... "if you even look at the throttle it'll mash your face in seconds" or something to that effect.

What is the consensus on the amount of straight airflow before the MAF? Looks like yours could have some turbulent flow...
