    I took a quick read through this (http://www.moga.mo.gov/statutes/chapters/chap307.htm) and it does not appear that MO requires wipers at all. But, I would make a call to your local State Patrol office and ask. Be sure to write down the date, time and who you talked with (including badge or ID number.)

    I went thru the 551 inspection in 2006. I was worried but the question never came up. I had a copy of state regulation 11 CSR 50-2.230(1) which states wipers required when equipped by the manufacturer. My plan was to argue that I was the manufacturer.

    No you do not. None on my car, and it wasnt questioned at Troop C or at the safety inspection.

    Haven't had wipers since '07 and just went through my 5th inspection last week with no problem.
