I'm willing to step in and start updating this map again, if anyone can get me access. I think it's a great idea and would love to see who's around. I'll ask mods if anyone knows..

Glad to see the map is being updated again. Thanks James Shaw! You can update #583, Gainesville, Florida with a checkered flag.

So how can we use this to get in touch with people? I see two builds in my area (Austin,TX area), but the info is scarce on how to contact them.

The intent is that you can see their username on the map, and reach out to them on the relevant forum. They could be on either forum (or both obviously). Of course, some don't have contact details other than PM, in which case look in this thread for their request and see if there are clues there..

Mine was 008 but I sold it to a guy down south and have been trying to find him over the past two years. He offered me the wheels back and at the time I said no, now I wish I had bought them back.

0624 if done, I see you added a flag, it is now completed with interior and most squawks addressed. I have attended 2 car shows in our town and we have Thursday night gatherings at the local Dairy Queen, guess what another '33 FFR showed up with full fenders and a 406 SBF he is the 3rd owner and knows about another black '33 FFR in our town that is close to being finished.

    Owners contacts

    Geoff-
First and foremost, thanks for the service you provide to the forum.
I'm new to this forum (and forums in general) but have been considering building one of these for a long time upon retirement. Now I am and would like to pursue this in ernest. My issue is I'm 6' 5" and don't know if i will fit in this model. I'd like to find someone in my region who would be willing to meet and allow me to "test fit" the 33 and share their experience. The map shows several who might work as I'm in eastern Tennessee. Is there someplace I can look owners up and get their contact information or arrange to talk to someone?
    Thank you very much.

Yeah just click them on the map and it should show you their username. You can then search for their profile. Let me know if you need help..

Welcome Tom. Not every 33 owner is on here, but everyone who asked is! But yes, everyone on there are owners of a FFR33. You can find people local to you that way.

RoadRacer, thanks for doing all these updates. I'm so glad you started helping because for the last couple of years I've been clobbered with family and work issues. We're moving late this year and that should solve most of my issues and get me back to hot rodding again.
