About RBachman
Biography:
I've always wanted to build a car from ground up...at least since high school shop class. Now that I have the time and money, it may be time to pull trigger. So I'm researching and learning. Questions like engine/tranny/HP combos, which car is best to start with, licensing, known fixes to assembly issues, etc.? I hope to order the kit within a month or two, depending on the completion of a garage I'm having built.

I Grew up in the midlands area of South Carolina, served in the USAF after college at USC, worked in industry for a bit and retired early a few years ago. My wife and I live just South of Myrtle Beach, SC. I'm a PE (Professional Engineer) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a background in energy efficiency and conservation engineering. (i.e., high efficiency wind farms, solar plants, power plants, etc., not a tree hugger or machine design guy).
