I was lucky enough to get a close look at the new Vette. Interesting car and evolution. Does the combination of layout and price threaten the GTM...

    Hi Tom,

    I will check that out.

    Thanks for looking that up.

  3. Hi Larry, I took a look back through a bunch of posts and found the California supplier of my fenders. I believe they're still available however, Langley Kersenboom, the original guy who supplied them to me is no longer doing so. They can be purchased directly from the glass shop.

"Langley closed his shop, but the fenders are produced by <> in Gardena Ca.

  4. Hi Larry,

My front and rear fenders came from California. A fellow FFR enthusiast contracted with a company out there to have them made. I think they're still for sale. I'll have to check my files to see who made them and see if there's a contact # for them. They work well and required essentially no finish work before painting. I got a bit carried away and made up a "fender welt" strip to go between the rear fender and the wheel arch. Basically had an upholstery shop make up the welt material and the paint shop painted the fabric to match the car color. Then we sandwiched it between the fender and the arch to keep dirt, etc out of the gap.

    Best regards, Tom

    Hi Tom,

I am new to this whole experience with Factory Five. I appreciate all the info you have published on the forum. I will be taking delivery of a 33 kit in the next few weeks and really looking forward to the whole experience.

I wanted to find out how you did your fenders? I Like the look, I noticed a few other 33's with a similar style. I ordered the bike fender option on mine and they look quite a bit different. Did you trim them down a bit and build up the edges or are they aftermarket items?
