  1. tomahawg, Thanks for the comments. I posted a couple of pictures on the "What have you done on your roadster today" thread.
The front could come all the way down to hit the ground, but I added hood rods to prevent that from happening.
It was quite a bit of work, but nothing too hard. We fabricated the tilt brackets, cut the body, added a lip on the cowl and bonded the hood on. I know of at least 3 others, so we're not the first to do this.

Hello. Im new at this here forum, and found the pics with your flipfront Cobra. Awsome. Id like to build one of those as soon as Im done with my current project. You dont happen to have some pics of the car with the front fully opened? Does it come open enough without hitting the ground with its nose? Did the conversion bring you a lot of headaches, or did it run smothly? Did you fabricate the frontpart on the frame, as well as the cutting of the body, or is there some kind of thought about it from the manufactures?

Just trying to get the hang of this and see how it links to our existing blog.

You'll probably want to set this to 'ignore' until we figure it out. And maybe leave it there even if we do.

Whoa, that's a big picture.
