I'll be darned, it sure is... I honestly had not noticed, even though I have a set in my garage.

Folks,
You can send them in to the manufacturer and get them changed to degree F. There are a number of threads on this subject on this and the other forum. The charge for the conversion as I recall was around $15 but I would call and get an estimate first.
According to what I have read the originals where in centigrade.

Thanks carlewms. Went to the other site and bingo, there it was. I'll contact Speedhut this week and send it off for conversion.

Mike,
I had purchased a set of Smiths electronic gauges from Peter Bayer at Nisonger and the temp gauges are also in Centigrade. On my water temp gauge, the center reading is 90C which is about 195F. As it turns out, worked out great since I'm using the Painless thermo switch (185F/170F) near the thermostat housing so the electric fan comes on just about when the needle reaches 90C. A quick glance at the needle tells me exactly where I am in terms of the radiator fan kicking in.

On second thought I may just leave it alone. As long as I know where the temp needs to be and where it shouldn't go it won't be a problem. Considering my entire family is from Canada this shouldn't be a problem for me. Thanks for the replies guys.
Mike.

Cause it's based on one a them furrin cars.
Mike,
I plan to try as is and see if I can live with it. I think once you know your steady state ranges in centigrade it will be fine.
