Erik. Very excited to follow your build. As is everybody else here. Can you give us some Insight on how it's packed? Body mounted to chassis? A lot of guys are planning to pick there's up would be nice to know if you would recommend anything to take/build to help loading or strapping or what ever to make it easier for everybody down the road. Thx

Congrats Erik, I really look forward to your build. I get mine around Oct. 5. And am towing it back to Oak Park, Il. I hope to learn from your experience both towing and building. So here goes; we show horses and might might make it to Louisville this year, maybe I could drive a little farther south and have a look at your build? That's just a thought. Also, I am wondering how the body/chassis is crated or packed and if the whole thing could fit in a cleaned out 2 horse trailer with the dividers removed, and a huge tack room. I know you did some creative packing to carry two cars. I'm willing to be creative too. Have a good safe trip.

Well, that's interesting! My kit's production is also targeted for October 5. I'm not sure yet if I'll pick mine up, or have it delivered. But if I pick it up, I'll pretty much have to drive right past Oak Park, Illinois on my way to FFR. Maybe we would want to consider doing a caravan thing. A little built-in mutual road support. Something to think about, anyways......

The wheels are Enkei Raijins (18x8, 18x9.5), my car will have the Enkei Kojins 17x8, 18x9.5). I sell any of the Enkei wheels and get you a discount.

I'm currently choosing between some Konig Illusion with Blue or Silver Accents, Tenzo-R Concept 10 Matte Black, Tenzo-R Type M.V.1 Matte Black, and now thanks to this post the GW8 wheels from Enkei.... *Sigh* I can never seem to decide on what wheels I want on this dang car, no wheel seems to be able to "carry" the sexiness that this car brings!!

Silvertop, I noticed awhile back that Oct. 5 cars were on a one truck delivery route, makes sense. Maybe when the time gets near, we can plan something.

I would say he has #5 or #6 as I know the first few 818 were destroyed. Prototype 1 and 2 and then the SEMA car. Then there is the 818r and the 818s that FFR currently owns.

Stack, you should have come up, I mean Erik drove 1200 miles to get there and I came further

The frames sitting there were numbered 5, 6, and 7. I didn't look at the frame number of the one in the jig over in welding. Those are the GRM car, Erik's car and my car.

Had my kids this past weekend. We thought about all driving out but it would have been to much in the car for them. Looked like a great time. Pretty much a CW reunion haha. I'd rather shoot down to Alabama and hang out watch you guys build it

did anyone who attended the open house got any information regarding production ramp up and if they will be ahead of their plan given the investments made to the production line (ie. laser cutter etc)? I am scheduled for Nov 2013 production and after seen all the pictures and how happy Erik looks on the pictures taking possession of his kits, makes it harder to wait til Nov.
