Hey, I just corrected the spelling of my name in your post! I didn't go in a post my secret fantasies like you did. No wonder you have to wear that ankle bracelet. Next time just use "e" as you know it so you won't have to do any spelling. Tee hee!

Wayne, what's your current plan in terms of mods to the engine and accessories (hoses, exhaust and whatnot around) to fit and use that GTX?

Head gaskets, valves, retainers, guides, higher flow head and/or IM, etc.
You said no internals at the moment if I recall.
You already modified the coolant lines.
Maybe you already did other adjustments?

And, please give us a good detailed pitch on your ECU & harness with what it will and won't do. I really don't want to tackle the OE harnesses. I said "please" like Mom taught me.

I am curious about this as well after seeing the picture on that other build thread of the stock harness. It would be nice if the harness could deal with A/C or be an easy add on since I live in TX and am going to need it.

Ever sat at a light in a car when it was 100 with no top or A/C? Ever sat at a light in a car when it was 100 with no top with A/C? There is a difference.

Yes to both. I guess I've just conceded that the car will be a spartan vehicle with little to no amenities. Guess that doesn't mean everyone's car has to be that way.

Agreed, mine won't have A/C, at least initially and it will suck in the summer. My point was that even without a top, A/C helps. Back on topic, awesome job Wayne! Can't wait to see what else you do for this community!

If you are looking at the APR GTC 200 they start at $750, the GTC 300 like on FFR's blue 818 R they are $1430

Maybe use something out of an EV car or this ??....http://www.grassrootsev.com/airconditioner.htm
I wouldn't want an AC pump on the motor with piping
Put it in the front next to the batt & add a little weight on the front axel
or move to Calif where the taxes & politicians are way to high.
One thing you got going is the motor is in the back, not like the roadster, 33, coupe- no forced heat into the cockpit

Right, so these are height adjustable, seems to. I didn't know that. I like the wing cuz it fits lower on the car, but I don't want a small lip on the rear trunk either. A low big wing is nice. Only thing is not sure how aerodynamically efficient they (low big wings) would be since AFAIK only the big FFR R wing and the new FFR S wing (I haven't see yet) have been flow tested.

A knockoff carbon fiber Subaru s202 wing is easily and inexpensively obtained. Not as good at making down force as the aggressive Apr wings but is functional.

Yeah but to put some down force the entire car needs to flow air onto the wing.
If FFR tested their S wing and will offer it, what tells us a, say, APR GTC 200 wing would be better or worse in terms of down force, drag, top speed, etc.?

Actually, that may not be the thread to discuss about this. But anyway I am throwing out the question.

Yes, I had to modify trailing arms which I'm now selling, make new spacers for the upper trailing arm. My Kojins are 18x9.5 at +45

Maybe I've missed it, but did you mention your tire sizes yet Wayne? If your fitting a 9.5" rear tire, I'll be ordering those trailing arms for sure. Very excited to see your new setup on the dyno, and while your stand alone is more expensive than some others, I might be persuaded when the time comes just cause you support the community. Do you do remote tuning?
