Adding a stereo to the Ron Francis harness

As the wiring progresses slowly I am at a loss on adding stereo, wiring and power. If you can simplify it, I appreciate your advice to a guy who hasn't had a radio in a hot rod in 30 years, how do I get it done?

Is actually pretty easy. You will need to reference the wiring diagram for your stereo. You have 2 of the 3 or 4 wires for the stereo already there. See diagram attached. Attach the red to your constant power on the radio, usually a red, yellow or orange wire. Your switched power wire, will be hooked to the black on the harness for power. You may have another yellow/orange wire for lights on the radio, tap into the gauge wiring from the dash. Ground to your collective ground point. You will then need to add speaker wires to the harness and run them to wherever your speakers will live. If you have a digital copy of the radio harness, email it to me or post it here and I can give you exact specs. Hope this helps.
