    Finished GTM Pictures

It's time to post your favorite pictures of your GTM. These cars are just too beautiful not to be shared among your peers! As has been stated so many times, there is just no such thing as a bad looking GTM. So let's see 'em everyone!

This picture was taken the first time that I ever saw a GTM. It has stuck with me ever since. Charlotte Autofair, April 2007. Factory Five's LS7 show car.

I fell in love with it.
    Read about it.
Learned all I could about it.
    And Bought one.
(Soon to be posted in this thread).

Dave is certainly one of the people who helped to make the forum the family that it is. I can't count the number of times that
I needed help, and he was there to offer suggestions that made good sense. He's been around the block a few times with FFR
builds having built a couple of Roadsters and this beautiful GTM. Did I mention that he's an Autocross Champ?

Above all that, he's just a good person. I feel that I can call him a friend, so I do!

This car set the bar high (very early on) for the rest of us...

This car has been featured at SEMA multiple times over the past 3 or 4 years.

"Crafted" by Shane Vacek, and owned by Axel Nusing, this is a prime example of what a very well built GTM can be.
This is also the first GTM to make laps around the famed Nurburgring.

    Chester, CT.

And Here's the latest! What a beatiful car!

Not many people realize that Allan had an RCR GT-40 that was a freaking MASTERPIECE! He's currently building an SLC
to go along with his GTM. I absolutely can't wait to see that.

Jeff Collins and the guys at Whitby Motorcars, Greensboro, NC, built this one for lucky customer Kevin Gangi, in California. It has been
one of my favorites for some time. I've always loved dark blue paint on a sleek body. My car will look very similar to this,
but a couple of shades darker.

Another California GTM owner: Mike Downs, of San Jose, puts his car through the paces at Infenion Speedway! It looks right at home carving up the turns.
Take a look at the shock travel at the front wheel. This is an off camber turn. It looks as though there is still plenty of travel left in the suspension, and not much roll.

This picture is a good reference for the size of the GTM versus the C6 Corvette.

The combination of the paint color & custom wing that Shane developed, make this car really stand out.

Here's one that Keith Bentzle may have been too modest to post... His car was featured by "Two Guys Garage" to show the install process of the new ISIS wiring control system. They laid on plenty of praise as to what a nice car they were working on. This episode also seemed to be the precursor to their 33 Hot Rod build. Awesome job Keith! Beautiful Car!

Henry Renaud was one of the first to complete his build. Where most people were going with dark colors,
Henry went in the opposite direction. His car was featured in multiple magazine articles and covers.
His is another that went through two versions. Here's a look at the First.

Here are a couple more pictures of Richard Oben's GTM. Richard is very well known in the Factory Five World
as a premier builder of all things Factory Five. He is also very quick to jump in and help builders with answers
to their questions regarding build hurdles.

As you can see, the level of quality is high at Richard's shop: North Racecars.

Nathan Polencheck's "Stealth" GTM. Many of you know him as "SpyTech".
Spy has maintained one of the nicest build logs that you're likely to see for these cars. There are tons of information
to be found. And he's always been kind enough to answer questions by "PM" as well.

    Great Car Spy!

VRaptor Speedworks has been fortunate enough to have a steady flow of GTM's being built by Owner Shane Vacek.
Shane builds his cars to a level that is pretty much unmatched. This car was consigned and built for a forum customer
and was later sold to Steven Grupinski in Texas.

Bill Inskeep incorporated some custom work throughout his build. The most obvious being the more pointed nose.

This car belongs to Luke in NY. If memory serves me, this is one of the last Factory Five cars painted by NCPainter near Charlotte, NC. Dave and his guys did some great work with these cars, for people all over the country.

Factory Five's new Generation-Two GTM. Since the Gen-II GTM has only been recently released this is the only one that has been completed so far. Here are a few pictures of the Gen-II Show Car. Hopefully, as these new versions are completed, their owners will post their favorite pictures in this thread for the rest of us to see. Until then, enjoy!

Lawrence Chapman (Buggy222) built this Electric Blue GTM. He is also among the first few to have completed their GTM.
Lawrence built a beautiful car that displays his skill very well. But beyond that, he went way out of his way to document
all aspects of the build process. He made himself available to others in order to answer their questions and help them through
their road blocks. He and people like him are responsible for making the Factory Five GTM community, the "family" that it is today.

"DiveJunkie" (Gary) Built this stunning GTM. So far, we haven't seen to many GTM's painted this shade of Maroon. Looks Beautiful Gary!
You may have seen this car in Gary's You Tube video. It shows some nice "footage" of the car in action. You get a sense of what others
will see from their cars as you blast past them!

Check it out when you can. You Tube dot com. Search "GTM". It's worth the few minutes spent.

Brian Dobbins built this GTM, and gave the rest of us a peek as to what it was capable of...

Many people of the GTM forums know Jesse Bubb. Especially if you've had to have your ECM re-formatted to delete the
infamous "VATs" issues. Here is Jesse's GTM.

And a nice Track Day video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PLMMAIZLCg

"Rattle was a belt hitting some dynomat on the cover."
"The whole time around track was just staying in 4th gear from 2000rpms to 7900rpms. Just to learn the track and what speeds to take the turns at.
WOT is about the 3 1/2 second range in the vid. It accellerates a lot faster in 3rd but i wanted to just get familure with the track first.
Car is 750hp and weighs 2100 WITH driver. 1900 empty with full tanks.
At 7900 rpms in 4th is 163 mph.
    Runs 100% E85 fuel."

Chris Coleman: Father and Son build in Richmond, VA, resulted in this Sweet Ride.
I love how the color works with the light.
    Very nice!

A pleasant surprise at the Portland Roadster show last weekend In Portland Oregon
I hope these are a decent size as Photobucket has not been too cooperative this evening.

The car was right in the big middle of some of the finest hot rods and customs in the country including one that competed for Worlds most beautiful roadster at the GNRS a month ago. And it held it's own with the best of them, not only in appearance but in the positive attention it received.

I have been following the GTMs since I saw the first pre production photos and joined the forum to find out more about the ins and outs of building one.
