ECU and main relay will be mounted on the back of the firewall. Fuel pump controller is mounted on the cross brace and the security alarm on the opposite side:

Hooked up the battery and nothing sparked, smoked, or caught on fire. I guess that's a good sign. The keyless entry and alarm appear to work. I need to top off all the fluids and maybe I'll be able to do a test start soon.

Progress has been painfully slow lately.

Here is my remote reservoir setup for the clutch and brakes:

Dash is installed; the Zero/Sports gauge cluster has an integrated shift light. I made a center console to hold the radio, hazard, outlet, OBD, and a toggle switch for tuning.

Rear wheels finally came in; still waiting on the fronts...

Wow it took a while before you posted, yes, but look at how clean, shiny and awesome the result is!

How do you call those footstep protectors on the floor? I'm trying to get something similar that I'll bolt on my carpet, but I name them wrong and can't find any result.

EDIT: Think I got it, it's a foot rest.

My garage is epoxied. It's still a mess with metal shavings here and there, parts here and there, wheels here and there, tools here and there..... lol.

There's a thread in the roadster section worth reading,( what turns a ok/good build into a great build) yours looks like a great build.

The garage floor looks great too, unfortunately mine's not a candidate for epoxy.

I wanted to try a different technique for the grilles. I bought several samples of old windshield rubber from Steelerubber and settled on this one: http://www.steelerubber.com/master-ch-359-40-0359-99

I ordered some plastic grille mesh on eBay and ended up with this:

The rubber installs around the outside of your cut first. I couldn't get it to make the tight corners without deforming so I had to cut it and butt the ends together.

This is what the back side looks like. I cut the extra rubber out on the corners to help everything to lay flat and then the flaps hold the grille mesh in place. No need for additional fasteners or adhesives:

What do you think of my rear end redesign? I wanted to find some production parts that I could incorporate into the kit. This 2012-2013 Kia Soul front grill fit amazingly well.

It looks really nice. Like factory and OEM.

When I first glanced at the first pic; I thought you had a white Tesla Roadster under the cover:

Dang RoRi I'm kinda in love with this upgrade and it does not look that expansive todo.

The grille surround has 10 tabs around the outside edge; I cut notches for all of those tabs to pass through. Then there are 4 screw holes across the top. I added a nylon rivet to the bottom corners where it wraps under the car. If I did it again I would probably try cutting off all of the tabs and just securing it with the 4 screws and the rivets underneath. It fits well enough that I think that might be enough. One of the tabs lined up with the crease towards the bottom of the FFR bumper so it filled in the gap nicely. If you were going to try to mount it without the tabs; you would have to keep that tab and shape it so there wouldn't be a gap there.

Another creative solution by the same guy who solved the steering column problem! I really like your . . . (can I say this?) . . .rear end.
Now, how about a Rori solution to the front hood hinge?

    Front: 18x7.5 +40
    Rear: 18x8.5 +42

I finally got word from Japan that the front wheels are done. They are going to ship them by air to me since I have been waiting so long. Hopefully not too much longer then...

nice. interested to see how all your clearances are. I would love to run a brz fitment because a shop nearby usually has them on hand. I was on the fence about the machining, but for $200 it just looks so cool.

I think this wheel is perfect.

... the only other one that might make me change my mind is the RS05RR $

You could trim it if you still wanted to use the FFR diffuser, but I'll probably make a new diffuser to match the new flat edge of the bumper.

    Hey Rori-
Can you snap a picture of where you SPT intake is in relation to the side pod vent? Is the filter in a good area to draw cold air from the pass side vent?
I need to get mine near the side pod vent on my R.
I see two different part numbers for that SPT intake, any idea which one you have?

    Thanks!
