    Simplifying the EJ205

Does anyone have a list or insight on what call can be removed from the engine? I know I can get rid of the TGV valves but beyond that I'm kind of lost.

We had a thread on this started at the very beginning of this forum titled Simplifying the EJ. Lots of good tips in there.

    TGV delete
    Green Brackets of Death delete
PCV delete/modify (no more oily intercooler/turbo/intake manifold and your effective octane goes up!)
    EGR delete
    AC delete
    PS delete
    Cruise Control delete
Air Pump delete (don't think the EJ205 has this)
Bracket shave/delete for the stuff you just deleted
    Throttlebody shave
    Throttlebody coolant lines delete
Wiring delete for all the other systems you just deleted

Those'll get you 85% there. Come back when you're done.
