Lets not forget about the Roadster

I know that the 818 is the big deal right now, but Im still hoping we have a coyote option for the Roadster soon. I know Fordracing will love the extra sales. I know you are trying to spread the wealth Dave, totally understand. I just dont have the knowlege these other guys have welding and fabricating.

LW, in my talks with Dave he's told me the Coyote fitment/kit is on the list for the Roadster. Thing is, there's a lot of stuff on that "list" at FFR right now. So it is in their plans, but it will be a little while. They've got stuff on that list for the '33 Hotrod, plus of course the 818 project and some other hush-hush stuff...

Technically there are no roadblocks to putting a coyote in a roadster right now. Thanks to Richard Oben you had a pan to use... (and probably the best option regardless) and the exhaust is not an issue any more as well with the adapters we came up with. Sure its going to add a bit of hassle and $ to the build, but a small price to pay for what you get in that motor.

FFR will come around with some headers in the due time... but its no reason to delay your build or decision on using this motor IMHO.

The Coyote motor sounds maybe like a future upgrade.
Read a story recently that Superformance installed a Coyote 5.0-liter crate motor into one of its MKIII Roadsters. Pretty cool.
FFR5109 purchased in 2004, on the road since 2007.
