    And We're off!

Moochfest was a ZOO! Huge thanks to everyone who attended. 50 pizzas were gone in 15 minutes. We really were not completely prepared for the number of people! The FFR crew did a great job. We had some drama (full report on the DROPPED GTM shortly but we luckily had car #2 ready to go).

The big news was the new car and this new forum. Im going to be at a track meet this afternoon, but will be interested in how the new site fares over the weekend.

Thanks to everyone who helped get this site up and running!

    Dave Smith

Wish I could have been there Dave but I think a bunch of us are going to be driving up there for the Open House in a few months! I'm going to be hungry by the time I get up there, so order more pizza!

    Dave,

Thanks for making this forum available for all of us in the FFR family of builders, and future builders. I hope that since this forum is to be managed by Factory Five, that it means that you and the guys at Factory Five will be more of a part of the conversations and community, than you you were able to in the past.

Great get together and thanks for the pizza, Dave. It was nice to meet you in person. I'll be back in a few days to pick up my Mark IV. I just need to arrange a date with Jason on Monday.

I'll have more details on the GTM... Ouch. Still no-one hurt and first time in thousands of pick-ups (good thing it was in front of everyone!). Mad Dog is working on photos of the big day. Thanks again to all. Yes we'll be a larger part of the forum, as I hope suppliers and others enjoy the same access.

Dave, I'm here for ya. The Wife says I could come up there to remove the dropped GTM for you. You know, Cause" we care. I'd hate to think you have a "junk" car just taking up space in the shop.

I don't know which facial expression will fade from my mind first...the guy who was there picking up or the guy who dropped it. All's well that ends well, though. The picker-upper left happy with an unbroken GTM and the dropper was seen eating pizza with his remaining good hand.

I would like the thank Dave and the whole team at Factory Five for another outstanding Moochfest. Had a great time. I must have left by the time of "the drop".
41 degrees out in Wareham. When I got home it was snowing.... I have got to move South.
Great move on the forum. Should work out nice and I like the "ask the Factory Five" section as well. Can't wait to see some of the designs you get for the New car. Should be interesting.
All in all a great day for Factory Five.
