Hi,

I am Karl Luft, a recent member of the forum but a long time owner of a Factory Five Cobra. I finished and licensed my Factory Five Mark I in 2006. Since retiring from Mechanical Engineering, I thought I would have more time to drive the car. But life gets in the way and another move is in progress. . . .

I put a ton of high performance parts in this car, since I spent three decades road racing - primarily in Sports 2000. I learned my engine building skills during college, working in a machine shop that specialized in racing engines.

Anyone from SLO County involved in the forum?
