    818R Clearance

    Hey Guys,

it seems that a lot of you are worried about the ground clearance of the R. By looking at the pics of the FFR Blue R, it does not seems that low. I am into old school 50's and 60's customs riding super low. My 60 merc has about 2" of clearance and I have no problem talking that car anywhere. Are people freaking out because they drive SUVs all day or is it really really low?

I am not having any issues driving around at R height. I avoid large speed bumps and approach driveways diagonally and so far so good

Correct me if I am wrong, but the R can be setup to ride at the "street" ride height of the S chassis as well? You need to change mounting points to achieve the r "race" ride height?

Yes both R & S can bet set to ride at either height however once assembled it isn't a quick switch between the 2.

Exactly. Not to mention the camber, toe changes. You would need an alignment each time you switched.
    Thanks- Chad
