FFR Open House / Northeast Trackday Tour

I've talked to a few folks over the past year about the possibility of lining up a few trackdays around the date of the FFR Open House. I'd love to see 5 - 10 coupes on track at once and hey, it wouldn't hurt to have unlimited pit support on hand as well!

With the open house set for Saturday June 11, I have a few possibilities to throw on the table and see what we can coordinate with as many as possible. If anyone has serious interest let me know so we can get everyone registered before the events sell out...the spots for less expereinced drivers tend to sell out quickest.

June 6 (Mon) - Limerock Park with PDA / NASA Northeast

June 7/8 (Tues/Wed) - Watkins Glen with Track Masters

June 10 (Fri) - NJMP with NARRA (Viper Club) (experienced Solo drivers only)

June 13 (Mon) - Watkins Glen with BMWCCA Patroon ("the longest day")

I wish it wasn't so darn far away, I'd love to run my coupe on any of those tracks.

Do you know if these are quiet days or not? I'm not sure how many coupes would pass the low noise levels.

The LRP date is subject to their new and improved 85db at 50 feet rules, but WGI and NJMP don't have any restrictions.

I got away with stock sidepipes at LRP last year by criss crossing some wire across the exhaust exits but I believe the limit was 89db last year and they likely gave us a break because we tried and the cars looked great on track.

Does anyone have stock sidepipe db readings at 50ft or the more typical 100 ft?

Russ, if you fly out East to the Open House I bet we can get you into someone's car. Perhaps one from the FFR stable?

I updated the info a bit to give more background on the dates and links for details re: registration, experience requirements, etc. What might make most sense is to skip LRP due to noise restrictions, hit NJMP first on Friday, refresh the cars while at open house, then do the longest day at WGI on Monday.
