Coolant hard lines (kit) interferes with the fuel tank filler tube

Has anyone else who purchased one of the hard line coolant kits had trouble mounting the fuel filler tube onto the stock fuel tank? I purchased the hard line coolant kit from Breeze, and now I have discovered that the hard line to the engine blocks the fuel filler inlet on the stock tank. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution. I love the coolant hard lines, as they were super easy to install, and being flared they will not leak as easily as the corrugated lines.

If you got the kit from replica parts (mike ever son) hit him up. They is a new tube he will supply you with because of this issue. I brought this up to his attention last month. He created a new tube specifically to solve this problem.

Nvm read your post again. Maybe you can buy the tube I'm talking about from mike everson. It will solve your problem breeze copied him and must of used the Boyd tank while designing their kit.

The lines that come with the kit do not leak. They are very good. The flexibility is what you need building a car.

The FFR lines did not leak, but the corrugated tubbing can and does tend to trap air more easily and they are also paper thin stainless and don't take much abuse. There find to use, but the hard lines are a good upgrade.

Yes, I bought from Breeze, but I thought the kit was supplied by Mike, not copied. Still, it is a very good kit. I will contact Mike to see if I can substitute his lower engine connector. Thanks.

Iono if they are supplied or copied. His lower tube will work fine. I just installed the first one and installed the body and filler tube.

If you send me the original, I will swap it out for you. Just to be clear, Breeze did not copy my hoses. They were designed by a third party using my car. Mark and I are resellers for that third party.

Problem solved. I just replaced the lower section of the metal filler tube with a Gates 2" fuel filler line with a 90 degree bend. Everything else worked out ok. Be careful installing the filler tube on the stock tank - it is an extremely tight fit.
