I have been holding off showing the new paint because it is not completely done yet. I finished most of the bodywork and had the car prepped to shoot. The problem was the nose still needed some work. So I made the decision to shoot the body and do the nose later. My time crunch was that my 1st autocross event was rapidly approaching so on went the paint and we threw everything back together and made the 1st race. Finished the car Saturday afternoon and ran the 1st hotlap Sunday morning. My intent was to withhold pics until the nose was done but someone got some great pics of the car at speed that are too good to not share.
I used the Eastwood Hot Rod Satin Black and shot it in my homemade paint booth at home. Not too bad for an rookie. Just remember the hood is still featherfill.
