Door hinge mounts: keep 'em or lose 'em?

I've been looking at the doors hinge mounts. They appear to be a vestigial element from the 818S welding jig.

    Could I cut them off...

and still be able to attach everything (e.g. body, dash) properly?

    Thank you Rasmus!

Had the same idea, hope folks can chime in on this. My chassis is arriving bare, so I'd prefer to do all the modifications to it sooner rather than later. Inquiring minds want to know...

My R (35) didn't have them. I think they will interfere with the door vents, so if you plan on running those. "chop chop"

I would leave the square tube capped to keep stuff out of there, although some plastic plugs would weigh less than steel
