    Finished up another one

I painted this one a few weeks ago. The owner, Thomas, took the go-kart home to Kentucky to wrap up some wiring, carpet, etc. while I did the paint and brought it back to me last weekend. I put it all together this week and he returned to pick it up this morning. It's a nice looking car

Always hate to see them leave but the next one is here and I've started on it already.

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Very nice Jeff - looks like you do them at a "home shop"? I would like to do mine when it is done, but all I have is a home shop set up and not sure if I could do the painting without making a huge mess!

It is a beautiful car and beautiful paint job. What are those goofy-looking things front and rear? A form of nerf bar? Something attaches to them?

    Thanks guys!

It's late model Ford "Dark Shadow Gray" Code CX. I shot samples of a few different colors including the "Eleanor" Pepper Gray but it was not nearly as lively as this one (smaller flake and some yellow which when compared to this made it kind of brown). Here's a shot right after I sprayed it that shows the metallic better than the more distant photos:

    Cheers,
    Jeff
