33 Hot Rod Bug screen

Has anyone come up with any good ideas to keep the bugs out of the grill/radiator on their 33 other than not driving it. Cause that's not going to happen.

Either SRPM or speedway have bug screens. I would wax up the grille good and then find some stainless hardware cloth to put in front. Multiple sources for stainless screen you can trim to fit. Some perforated Filter media may work. If all else fails, a thin sheet of aluminum and a load of steel goose shot from a 10ga Remington may make an interesting random pattern?

I put a heavy duty metal widow screen cut to size behind the grill. Then before leaving on a night trip I sprayed the grill and painted surface with WD40. The bugs just washed off with soap and water.
