New FFR MK3 owner here

Hey Guys, I'm TMo and have had my MK3 for a few months now. I'm looking forward to learning from you guys. I'd like to say I can contribute too but it may be a while before I will have anything you guys don't already know. I do have some questions for you veterans but I'll wait and see how things work around before I start.

Just a little history. I live in the Lake Lanier area just north of Atlanta Georgia. I've ridden motorcycles all my life. I'm 59 years old, I've had a stroke, a heart attack and have had two major bike accidents. I no longer own a motorcycle. My cobra is my motorcycle replacement therapy. I've decided I like it even more than the bikes. I'm about twenty minutes from the north Georgia mountains. I truly love the cobra on the amazing roads there. Looking forward to learning from you guys. Holla!

I have a MKIII also. These are amazing machines. I've heard others call it the "four wheel Harley". Sometimes when I'm going home after a parking lot car show in the evening, I find that it is most like when I rode a two wheeler. Of course the sound is very much like that experience. You don't have to worry about balance any more though.

BTW: I used to live in Chattanooga and was a sailmaker there. We did a lot of racing down at Lake Lanier. That is a wonderful place to live. Buford, Helen, and many other little towns in the mountains are a lot of fun to visit. The mountain roads are custom made for the roadster.

Welcome to the Factory Five family. I live in Covington, GA but a lot of the local Cobra guys live on the north side and several in the Lake Lanier area. I've got a coupe (it's for sale) and have many miles on the N. Ga. mountain roads. The Deep South Cobra Club usually does a summer cruise weekend in the mountains. Plus they do several runs in different areas of Florida. A fun group!

Welcome to the family!I to rode bikes for a long time. The old body can't take the riding any more.I've had my MKII for about 10 years. I don't miss the bikes.I get the same buss as I got with the bikes and it's a wee bit easer on the back.Roger
