FFR Mk1 rear coilover conversion -.need advice please
Hi all
I'm new to owning a FFR and have some questions as to what will work on my car. I've read as much as I could find on the subject in the forums and from what I understand is I will need to drill holes in the upper frame rear shock box to accept the coilover . Mine does not have the predrilled holes some of you lucky ones do . I read it's a bear to do with body on and then I found a post that said you could use the lower donor brkt with the stud in the upper location . That got me thinking and looking into the fox body aftermarket and sure enough both URP and Kenny Brown make kits to adapt rear coilovers into the stock locations

Or even these for a GM

Does anyone see any problems using a kit like this with a mk1 or anyone used something similar ? ....This would make it so much easier .
I already have new upper and lower tubular control arms so I figured might as well do the coilovers . Any help would be greatly appreciated
