    Exhaust trim

Did anyone get the aluminum trim that attaches to the rear bumper that the tailpipe goes through? I see it on the FFR cars but I don't see one in my kit or on the parts list.

Sounds like a great idea, the car is available to you anytime and let me know what I can do to help.

I just ordered a trim ring from Mcmaster Carr. I bought a few to try out. They will work fine, I just have not mounted it yet. You just need to powdercoat or paint with high temp paint. ~$4 to ~$6 w/wo holes (With holes I like better). Choice of steel or galvanized in 3".

Here is a picture of the $4 trim ring mocked up. I still need to paint it, then rivet it on (with backing washers). Then I can remove the silicon gobs too. lol
    Thanks- Chad

Hi Quiny. What are you using for an exhaust? are you putting in a cat and muffler? We need to keep the state and EPA happy.

Thanks very much for the tip. I’ve just placed order with McMC.
