Factory Five Mk4 build manual complete Kit - updates to manual

Just two weeks ago I found by using google, looking for the build videos, that there are Manual updates named version V, X, S and R. I am wondering where the repository or notification would be. My kit was delivered in July 2010 and I never knew anything about these updates.

Do I need to register somewhere ?

When you buy the electronic PDF manual the updates are e-mailed to you for downloading. Of course this is not possible with the paper version.

This is interesting. I've only gotten one or two notices about changes (IRS axle fix kit, Clutch quadrant fix kit) but never any manual updates. Got the first electronic PDF but nothing after that. I figured the changes did not pertain to my particular Mk4 (March 2010, 1st Mk4) such as the dropped trunk found in the earlier Mk4's. I'll call FFR.

Hmm...I didn't know they emailed you updates. After I ordered my my kit and my electronic manual I never heard from them again.

I got the paper version with the Kit and also paid for the electronic version. How do we get FFR to update the list of those who should be getting updates. A POC person would be great.

I have a electronic manual purchase and have never received an update email... I found an update online from another forum member that had posted it... I was also disappointed to see this...I would expect that they would send email updates to people that purchases kits at the minimum and not send to people who may have never ordered a kit...little odd!
