    2007 2.5 sedan (42K) or 2006 wrx wagon (65K)

I got talked out of the 2006 wxr tr with 150K. After reading all the posts I'm leaning to the 2007 NA build. It is a light rear hit and at a local auction (run and drive car) should be in it a $2500 including fees and transportation. It's a really clean car with the most attractive point being 42K on the odom and I was able to start and drive this one on the lot. I build my FFR MkII basic first then upgraded over time.

The other donor 2006 wrx wagon roll over (run and drive) but pretty well messed up. 240 miles away vs 20 miles. This one will probably come in a few hundred more due to needing to have it shipped. This car looks to have seen more salt in it's life. I'm not sure I need the extra HP in this light car?

On a second note. I picked up my Mk2 at FFR. What does it run to ship an 818 to southwest PA?

My advice is to decide on the N/A vs turbo route first; don't let donor availability dictate the decision.\

I would like to see more N/A builds; I don't know of any completed ones, but Silvertop is building one now. The 818 will be a very fun car with a 2.5 Impreza motor, but the aftermarket tuning options and potential are much more limited than a WRX. If you want to build a N/A, that sounds like a great donor, but just make sure that's what you really want.

For shipping, give Stewart Transportation a call for a quote.

You don't need the hp....but you might want it. Turbo builds can always be toned down (reduce the boost), but it's harder to get more power out of an NA build. The hardest part, IMO, would be the wiring if you decide to switch in the future.
