    Dunlop Direzza II on clearance

    Hi All,

This morning I found that the Dunlop Direzza ZII (not Star Spec's) are on clearance from tirerack.com. I picked up a set of 225-45R17's (match my rims) for $112 per tire (plus shipping) with a MIR if you buy four (after rebate they're less than $100 per).

I've run these brand/type tires before on my STI for track (HPDE) & non-competitive auto-x and I've always been happy with them. They're my go-to summer tires (I may pick up another set for the STI if they're available & clearance).

Apologies in advance if I'm in violation of the non-supporting vendor policy for this forum - if so please delete.

That's a good deal for a WRX, but are you intending those for a 818? FYI, the size is too big for the 818 in front (25" OD, whereas 24" is ideal to prevent rubbing). You'll want a staggered set-up: lower profile in front, and preferably wider in the rear.

They don't have any of these in a 17" wheel size that is less than 24".
