Raise your right hand and say after me,
"I (State your name), do swear/affirm, that upon acceptance of this "Revered Coupe Jacket", will willingly subject myself to all manner of frustration and abrasion that my FFR Type 65 will provide. I further pledge that any and all fellow Coupe builders will have free reign in using the cash available in my wallet as they see fit to improve my build plan. I will not look down upon our fellow Roadster builders, but rather take pity on those not talented enough to build a race car with a roof, So Help Me God!"
It is my pleasure to present you with the "Revered Coupe Jacket", Here's your sign!!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Thanks all. I'm looking forward to it.
I'll pick the car up on March 28th.
Hank, thanks for the jacket. Hope I don't wear it to often.

Congrats! I just started my journey too.
With all of those goodies you'll get done waaay before me!
If I can get everything sorted out the plan is to pick up the car this Saturday, the 28th. It should be about a four and a half hour drive one way. It will be a long day, but worth it.
Drive safe and take lots of pictures!!

Thanks Marc. The truck, trailer, wife, and a friend who offered to help are all ready for the road trip. And the Nikon's battery is all charged up.

Welcome and enjoy the trip, Harold.
For what it's worth, if you decide to stay the night in or around Wareham, there is a really cool bed and breakfast/restaurant in nearby Sandwich, Mass. (across the bridge and a little north) called The Belfry. It is in an old church, and the restaurant is excellent. There is plenty of parking around back for a truck and trailer. Good luck and please post some pictures of the trip.
Thanks everyone. We plan to be on the road at four a.m. Bleah.
The Belfry, that's a great name for a B & B. The plan is to turn around and come home the same day, but if they have good beer on tap...
Harold
Well, after leaving at 4 a.m. we arrived at Factory Five Racing just after 9 o'clock. Ran into wallace88 while we were there and got to meet Dave Smith. We got the tour, loaded up and headed back to New Jersey in a snow storm. Fortunately the snow wasn't sticking to the roads. We made it home with no problems, just a few wet boxes.

It was nice to meet you there and see face to face another coupe group. OK bad pun. LOL. Glad you made it home OK. Have fun with the build.
Thanks Tom, it was nice to meet you as well. The Factory Five crew was awesome Saturday morning, loading the car and all of the boxes. My wife and I wanted to drive a couple of their go-carts.
Harold
Welcome aboard Harold.
Ahhh - another one starts The Journey. Make lots of room in your garage - 27 boxes takes more room than you think....

I'm robbing the engine and transmission from my 1988 GT to use in the coupe. It's a 5.8 liter and Tremec TKO 600. Someone came to look at the Mustang rolling chassis today and agreed to buy it. Awesome, now I'll have money for paint.
excellent-- you will love the build. Also, the kit will probably be easier than you plan.

I'm already enjoying it. Late last year I gave up on a very frustrating 1968 Shelby restoration and decided to sell the car. That car needed the "Revered Coupe Jacket". The money from that car is paying for my coupe. Everything is new! Nothing is missing! I'm having fun with this!

Like others, I have a clearance problem with the Wilwood clutch pedal and the one inch square tube that goes from the a-pillar area to the left suspension upright. I'll post some photos of how I decided to fix the problem in a day or two.
I got an email from FFR today, 57 pounds of back ordered parts should be delivered tomorrow!
