    It's alive! First start!

Yesterday I filled the float bowls with a little fuel and kicked it over. Open headers in a steel building = LOUD! The "whew" at the end was because the exhaust fumes were quite strong, and not relief because it ran-but it could be taken that way.

I love how the sweatshirt on the bench waves every time you throttle it.

Gratz, I can only imagine how sweet that feels. Best I can do is cruise in my Mustang Conv and go over the parts on my 97 donor.

Unfortunately I haven't started it again. I was waiting for the serpentine belt to arrive, and was intending to go ahead and install the radiator, then I learned that the plug going to the alternator didn't fit. I put the belt on and don't know if it would cause any damage to the alt to run it unplugged. I could take the belt back off, but I decided to work on the mechanical throttle linkage instead of running down a brand new battery. A big thank you to everyone for the congrats!
