I'm working on my 65 coupe and I'm having trouble with pedal clearances. I'm installing a Coyote engine with a TKO 600 transmission and Wilwood reverse pedals. The foot box is narrowed and there is little room for my foot between the wall and brake pedal. The clutch pedal hits the 1" square tube and the clutch pedal is much higher than the brake pedal. I need to remedy this before I install the engine. Has anyone had this problem and what is the best way to fix this. I'm at the point where I'm going to dismantle the foot box and relocate the pedal assembly to the left. I ran into this same problem with my son-in-law's roadster. But he learned to live with it. I'm nervous when I drive it, the pedals are so close to each other. I have several times hit the gas and brake at the same time. I'm not going to have the same problem with this car, if I can help it.
Your help is much appreciated!!
Thanks
Ben
