Planning the build, sourcing engine, rear end and transmission

    Hello

Quick hello from Laurence, Connor And Jonathan Oberman. We are very excited to start out project soon.
We live in Worcester, MA so its very convenient for us being so close to Factory Five.

Part of the planning stage required deciding on Engine, transmission and rear end.
We dont have a donor Mustang readily available and given that we are going with the full MK4 kit we were thinking of getting new or almost new parts.

Our use case is a street car, that is reliable, fun to build and drive. We dont foresee any track use or require excessive horsepower.

I am looking for suggestions/recommendations on sourcing a 302 small block, maybe a Tremec or Speedway Ford C4 Street King Transmission and also looked at the Moser FFR500XXX-3 - TSD500 3-Link Rear End.
Ideally somewhere close to Worcester or in New England would be convenient.

Anyway, great to be part of this new team of MK4 kit builders.

    Regards
The Obermans (Laurence, Connor and Jonathan)
