Nice to have a model to test out the combinations on.
For what it's worth, I much prefer the silver/blue.

Thanks I am leaning that way as well, next challenge is the interior, leave it black or perhaps change it to Chamois or a lighter color.

Originally was going to do a Red White and Blue Theme as a tribute to a friend of mine's Top Fuel Nostalgia Car that was destroyed last year. Got thinking with invite someone to vandalize it so kind of accidentally backed into the Silver and Blue. Actually have thought hard about a single color. Kory really seems to want to two tone it though. Thought perhaps I could offset the colors with a silver, Gold, Yellow, or red stripe

I go to BG KY every year with Top Gas champ Ray Motes and we visit with Preston and a lot of the other Nostalgia guys.
They are usually parked right by Big Daddy and Ohio George's rigs, hope to see you there.

Couple more paint samples as we are getting closer. added the green. Also thinking of a buckskin or chamois colored interior.

So looking at a color wheel yellow is not really considered an accent color for green. I would have him do some more in red, red-orange, and red-purple. That is what is across from the green on a color wheel and "considered" a good matching color to work with. But hey, if you like the yellow, then go for it.

Yep Tim I am pretty much aware of the color wheel implications. I had a Car once that was all metallic green with Gold pinstripes. I put the yellow on there because I was trying to figure a shade of gold that would look okay against the silver. One of my initial thoughts was a solid color, green, with the gold accents. I did put the red on there. What many cannot see is the trim piece that runs the length of the car at the color break

Man I wish I fit into one of these.
Bill, I like the dark blue solid with a yellow or gold stripe and definitely a buckskin interior. Same scheme in Emerald Green or Ruby Red would also look fantastic. Two-tone blue bottom/silver top, green bottom/lighter green top, and red/silver would also look awesome if Kory really needs to get his two-tone jones on.

Narrowing down. After weeks of looking at Green my artistic adviser denies ever saying she like it, especially with the silver. On the bright side, 121 Rod & Restoration has asked me for my choice of paint chips. So we are looking at the final coat very soon. I am pretty impressed in several areas. First the seams are very well aligned, as are the panels. Second the structurally challenged areas have been reinforced very well and there is no weakness on the body panels. We even foamed the hood where some delimitation occurred. I am especially happy with the fitment of the trunk with the shock kit and the false bottom we created. It stiffened up the rear panel sufficiently there are no issues latching the trunk or unlatching it. I am pretty stoked. Here is the last primer coat.

Using the unit from Speedway Motors. Cannot say I am 100%. There are some kits that fit beneath the dash but they are hundreds of dollars.

From the outside it looks good. To bad the motor on the inside wasn't a little smaller.
Don't know if I'll have much or any room left under the dash.

I used a Mighty Wiper. It looks like its smaller than the speedway unit. I don't have a good picture of it handy, but it only hangs down about 1/4" or less and it's mounted just like yours.

How did you guys treat the inner engine compartment sides, raw glass, of the engine compartment skirts? Kory is doing a good job, he is going to primer coat it a few times then paint it flat black or texture it.

Everyone probably tired of hearing me say soon. Today I ordered the paint. It will be in Friday. Going British Racing Greeen with a hand painted Gold/Sand/mustard stripe.
