    Body work and paint

Hello everyone I had a question about when to take the body into paint and bodywork is it when you have a rolling chassis or when it is completed, before interior etc. Thank you!

The way I'm going to do it is get the car running, driving, and registered. Then, work out kinks and problems for a year or so and get it painted after I feel I've sorted everything out. Don't want to have to do major work on the car after you get your new shiny paint!

I have always assembled the car and gapped it as best I can. Taken it to my painter. He finish gaps and fixes imperfections. Then we remove body for final sanding and paint. Reinstall body painted. This allow you to clean up chassis and not get overspray on equipment.. Best way to go IMO.
